Fears over Covid spread at James Blunt concert
Eight people tested Covid positive yesterday. All were infected domestically, and all are linked to known chains of infection, reports corona.fo.
One of these eight people was present at last night’s James Blunt concert in Tórshavn between the hours of 9.30pm and 3.30am.
Others present at the concert who spent extended periods between the stage and the tables are considered at risk.
The chief medical officer is calling on anyone who feels any symptoms to get tested immediately.
All non-fully vaccinated people are also advised to get tested on 22 and 24 September and to avoid crowded places until they have received negative test results.
