Six new Covid cases since Saturday
There are currently 32 active Covid-19 cases in the country

Two people tested Covid positive on Sunday and four yesterday, reports corona.fo.

Three are linked to known chains of infection. One tested positive in a follow-up test three days after arrival from abroad. The infection source of two people, one of whom was infected domestically, has not yet been established.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 2, 2, 5, 3, 0, 2 and 4.

No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid, and 257 people are officially listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated today, 37,352 people (69.7 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 35,417 (66.1 percent) have received the second shot.
